Empower your middle and high school students through storytelling and filmmaking with the StoryTruths Project-Based Learning (PBL) curriculum. Designed to inspire creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, this program transforms students into storytellers who shape their school’s narrative.
StoryTruths builds essential life skills and media literacy, equipping students to thoughtfully navigate today’s media landscape. By creating their own content, students gain a sense of accomplishment and connect more deeply with their community, sparking lasting engagement.
The ten-week option takes students on a journey of self-discovery, collaboration, and cinematic expression. Each 45-50 minute lesson fits easily into a class period, covering essentials like Documentary Filmmaking, Interview Techniques, Scriptwriting, Post-Production, and Media Literacy—all while building character and life skills.
For a faster-paced experience, the “Triple Take” option compresses lessons into 30-minute sessions focused on creating a final capstone video. This approach emphasizes film production, character development, and media literacy in a compact, engaging format.
Our curriculum offers two flexible course
options to fit your schedule and goals; a
standard ten-week sequence and an
accelerated “Triple Take” program.
